I made this abstract wallpaper in 2014 after sketching a few lines on paper that seemed to diverge from a center point. It was only five hastily drawn lines, but I thought I could turn that into a nice wallpaper. I started out creating the render in Blender, then added the colors and details in GIMP. To make the wallpaper more interesting, I made the center line twirl around its center point, then added a triangular grid in the background. You can download the full size wallpaper by clicking here. If you rotate the image by 90 degrees, it works nicely on mobile as well. I was happy with the result and a few months later, I decided to make another wallpaper called Expand.
